miss A expressed their amazement at SNSD’s diet plan on a recent radio show saying they actually enjoy eating meat.
“We had a bowl of bulgogi and dumplings,” miss A said when asked what they had for lunch on Jeong Sun Hee’s SBS radio “A Night Like Tonight.” Jeong Sun Hee followed up by saying, “I heard SNSD consumes only 900 calories a day. Your meal is very different from other girl groups.”
miss A seemed shocked by her remark, as they responded, “Are you sure it’s not 900 calories per meal, but for the whole day? We enjoy eating meat regularly. The secret to our powerful dance moves are the bulgogi bowls.”
However, it was previously revealed that the SNSD diet plan Jeong Sun Hee referred to was in fact false when SNSD members appeared on the June 30th episode of MBC “Good Day.”
On the show, Yuri revealed, “The diet plan that was made public recently was completely wrong. We’re taking lots of nutritious and healthy food three times a day, while working out regularly.” YoonA added, “We really eat well. I don’t know where the whole ‘SNSD diet plan’ came from. We eat so well and are healthier than you think.” Sunny also said, “The managers get shocked at the amount we usually eat.”
A survey entitled ‘Kpop Hallyu Stars Who Are Also Receiving Most Recognition Overseas’ was conducted from July 26th to August 2nd. From the result of the survey, SNSD captured the no.1 spot collecting 83,705 votes (43.7%) out of the total of 191,674 votes.
SNSD garnered huge supports from fans who commented, “Obviously, SNSD. The survey is meaningless”, “Right Now, SNSD. In the future too, it’s SNSD”, “Asia’s best girl group, SNSD”, “Without having to consider for even a second, the undisputed SNSD”, etc.
Super Junior who recently released their 5th album ‘Mr.Simple’ came in 2nd with 49,852 votes (26%). JYJ came in 3rd with 15,408 votes (8%), followed by TVXQ with 10,405 votes (5.4%) in 4th, Kara in 5th with 8,632 votes (4.5%). Big Bang came in 6th with 6,781 votes (3.5%) while SHINee were ranked 7th with 3,599 votes (1.9%).

SNSD fans donated 180kg of rice to the Daniel Social Welfare Corporation during SNSD’s solo concert at the Seoul Olympic Park Stadium on July 23rd.
It was a meaningful act of charity to donate in the name of SNSD to Daniel Social Welfare Corporation, a facility in SeoCho dedicated to providing moral support to more than 100 intellectually-challenged people in order to help them gain self-confidence and being able to stand on their own feet, as well as to spread love and hope to young, handicapped children.
Representatives of the welfare organization stated, “There are a lot of SNSD fans receiving help from the welfare organization so they would be really happy to receive rice donations in SNSD’s names.”
They continued, “The acts of sending congratulatory rice instead of congratulatory flower stands to celebrities such as SNSD will popularize the idea of donating to charity. We’re looking forward to spreading the love-sharing culture via congratulatory rice donations through famous celebrities like SNSD”.
