Girls’ Generation Ended Their First Solo Concert in Singapore in Great Success!

Girls’ Generation is the First Korean Artist to Hold a Solo Concert in Singapore!

Fascinated 20,000 Audiences in Singapore.

The best girl group, Girls’ Generation, ended their solo concert in Singapore in great success following Korea, Japan and Taiwan.

Girls’ Generation held ‘2011 GIRLS’ GENERATION TOUR in SINGAPORE’ at a large venue, Singapore Indoor Stadium, on the 9th and 10th and fascinated 20,000 audiences.

Especially, tickets were sold out four hours after ticket sales opened up, so one more day was added to the original concert date. In addition, Girls’ Generation is the first Korean artist to hold a solo concert in Singapore.

Girls’ Generation presented a total of 32 songs including hit songs ‘Genie,’ ‘Mr. Taxi,’ ‘Kissing You,’ ‘Oh!.’ ‘Gee,’ ‘Into The New World,’ etc. and each member’s unit stages.

The highlight of the concert was the performance of ‘The Boys, which ranked the 1st for 6 consecutive weeks on ‘KBS Music Bank.’ As soon as Girls’ Generation started to sing, the audience chanted ‘지금은 소녀시대, 앞으로도 소녀시대, 영원히 소녀시대’ in Korean.

Singaporean fans impressed Girls’ Generation by conveying the message that said '소녀시대 makes our lives Complete' when Girls’ Generation performed ‘Complete.’

Before the concert began, media such as ‘Bloomberg,’ ‘Straits Times,’ ‘Lianhe Wanbao,’ ‘U Weekly,’ ‘Yahoo,’ etc. attended the press conference on the 10th, and showed high interest in Girls’ Generation’s first concert in Singapore.

Meanwhile, Girls’ Generation will hold a tour in Hong Kong on January 15th, 2012.
