On April 10th, Sooyoung participated in a phone interview on MBC FM‘s “Son Seok Hee’s Focus” in which she voiced her opinions on the 19th National Assembly elections.
This will be Sooyoung’s first time participating in the elections. She revealed, “My father said, ‘You must participate in the voting’ therefore, I plan to go vote with my family.”
Son Seok Hee also asked Sooyoung which would be the best Girls’ Generation’s song to use in the political campaigns, and she picked their hit “Genie”.

The OST sang by Tiffany for KBS2 TV’s drama ‘Love Rain’, has been receiving explosive reactions.
On April 5th, the song sang by Girls’ Generation’s Tiffany made its first appearance on episode 5 of the drama ‘Love Rain’. Tiffany sang the song titled ‘Because it’s you’, as a way of supporting her fellow Girls’ Generation member Yoona, who plays the lead female role in the drama.
The song sung by Tiffany, ‘Because it’s you’, is an emotional ballad that captures the sad feelings of two lovers having to part and discontinue their love for one another. ‘Because it’s you’ has also been gathering attention due to the fact that it is the sister song to Jang Geun Suk’s sweet love song, ‘Love Rain’. The song ‘Love Rain’ is brighter and has a lighter feeling, whereas ‘Because it’s you’ is more of a sad and sorrowful song.
People who came across the song commented, “Her voice fits well with ‘Love Rain’”, “Tiffany’s voice is so sad”, “The drama and the songs are just brilliant”, and “Every time I hear this song, it reminds me of the sad farewell between Jang Geun Suk and Yoona.”

Girls’ Generation members Hyoyeon and Seohyun made an appearance at a department store recently and they brightened up the room with their beauty.
On April 6th, Hyoyeon and Seohyun attended an open event that was held at the Lotte Department Store in Incheon International Airport.
Even though the two were dressed in a comfortable fashion, they made their presence known. Hyoyeon showed off a chic look by wearing an ethnic one-piece dress, matching it with a black rider jacket. Seohyun, as per usual, showed off an innocent student look wearing a pink jacket with skinny jeans. What particularly captured the attention of onlookers was Seohyun’s long and slim legs that were reflected in the mirror, even when wearing flat shoes.
Other than the Girls’ Generation members, actor Lee Jung Jin also attended the event.
